A Bit About Anna

Anna Cepeda-Mays brings three decades of leadership experience across marketing, innovation, and organizational transformation, with a deep passion for education, mentorship, and community engagement. She is committed to fostering strong family connections, championing student success, and supporting the mission and legacy of Morehouse College.

Throughout her career, Anna has held executive roles in the pharmaceutical and consumer health industries, where she has led inclusive innovation, developed high-performing teams, and driven business growth with purpose. She is also deeply involved in nonprofit work, particularly focused on educational equity and disaster recovery. As an Advisory Board Member for HMARIA, INC., Anna helps guide efforts supporting communities in Puerto Rico and the Caribbean affected by natural disasters.

At home, Anna is a proud Morehouse mom to a member of the Class of 2029 and also the mother of a rising high school senior. She is an engaged track and field parent, actively supporting her younger son’s athletic and academic journey. Anna, her husband, and their family reside in New Jersey.

She holds a Master of Science in Marketing Management from Saint Elizabeth University and a certification in AI Essentials for Business from Harvard Business School Online. She continues to mentor firstgeneration students and emerging leaders.
