Helena Quick-Bennett

Region 7

A Bit About Helena

My name is Helena Quick-Bennett, a Kentucky native who was raised in Atlanta, GA, and now calls Mansfield, Texas home. I’m a proud wife and mother of five, and my life is deeply rooted in family, education, and community service.

Professionally, I bring over 20 years of experience in the field of Human Resources. I hold an MBA and several professional HR certifications. Currently, I serve as a Global Program Manager in Human Resources and also work as an HR Certification Instructor, where I help emerging professionals prepare for and succeed in the field.

Beyond my professional career, I’m passionate about addressing the Black maternal mortality rate and dedicate time to volunteering and advocacy in this area. This commitment reflects my belief in using both my voice and my platform to uplift and protect the health and well-being of Black families.

Education and service are also core values in our household. Our son attends Morehouse College, majoring in Education Studies with a minor in Biology. From a young age, he knew Morehouse was where he belonged—it was the only college he applied to. His dedication and confidence have inspired me to become more involved in the Morehouse community, and I’m honored to be serving as the Region 7 Representative for the Morehouse Parent Council.

I’m excited about the opportunity to contribute my skills, experiences, and heart to the Morehouse Parent Council and to be part of a community that values excellence, advocacy, and collaboration.

Together, Region 7 isn’t just showing up—we’re showing out. Let’s do great things, together!
