Helena Quick-Bennett

Vice Chair

A Bit About Helena

Helena Quick-Bennett's journey with MCPC began the way many great things do — with a moment of connection. After attending Parents Weekend, she knew she wanted to be more involved. What started as service as a Region 7 Alternate grew into a full Regional Representative role, and now into the Vice Chair of the entire council. That trajectory says everything about who Helena is — someone who shows up, earns trust, and keeps rising.

Throughout her MCPC service Helena has worked to strengthen parent engagement, advocate for families, and create the kind of genuine connections that make the Morehouse parent community feel like exactly that — a community. She understands deeply that every family walking this journey brings something different with them — different backgrounds, different needs, different questions — and she believes that strong parent engagement should honor and reflect all of it.

Helena's commitment to family-centered community building extends beyond MCPC. She actively supports parent engagement at her younger son's school as well, because for her this is not a role — it is simply who she is.

As Vice Chair, Helena brings a clear and purposeful vision: stronger parent programming, more meaningful communication, and traditions that give every Morehouse family something to hold onto long after their son walks across that stage.

She is not just filling a seat on this council. She is building something that lasts.
