Symara Moses did not need a title to start showing up for the Morehouse parent community. She was already there. ​

 

As co-administrator of the Class of 2028, 2029, and 2030 WhatsApp parent groups, Symara has been quietly and consistently doing the work — connecting families, sharing resources, answering questions, and making sure no parent feels alone in navigating this journey. That kind of grassroots commitment does not come from ambition. It comes from genuine love for this community and everything it represents.​

 

Watching her son grow academically, socially, and personally at Morehouse lit something in Symara that she simply could not contain. So she channeled it — into service, into community building, and now into formal leadership as Region 5 Representative. ​ She brings more than passion.

 

She brings 25 years of professional leadership experience and over a decade as an entrepreneur. As founder and owner of IHM3 Events LLC, Symara has led teams, managed complex partnerships and budgets, and coordinated large-scale events centered around education, mentorship, travel, and community engagement. Her professional background spans business operations, career services, clinical management, communications, fundraising, and program development — a breadth of experience that few council members can match. ​

 

Symara's vision for Region 5 is not abstract. It is specific, practical, and grounded in what families actually need — stronger communication, deeper engagement, and innovative service initiatives that make a tangible difference in the lives of Morehouse students and their families. ​

 

She has already been building this community from the ground up. Now she gets to do it with the full weight of the council behind her.​
